Panasa Thonalu Sweet
Preparation
- Mix maida, ghee and baking soda to make a chapati-like batter.
- Make small puris.
- Make 4 or 5 cuts to each puri and twist.
- Deep fry in hot oil.
- Make a one-string sugar syrup; add the fried panasa thonalu to it.
- Keep them in sugar syrup for 5 to 10 minutes and remove.
- Once they are cooled, can be stored.
