Panasa Thonalu Sweet





Ingredients:
2 cups - maida
2 cups - sugar
1/2 cup - ghee
1/2 tsp - baking soda
oil to fry


Preparation
  1. Mix maida, ghee and baking soda to make a chapati-like batter.
  2. Make small puris.
  3. Make 4 or 5 cuts to each puri and twist.
  4. Deep fry in hot oil.
  5. Make a one-string sugar syrup; add the fried panasa thonalu to it.
  6. Keep them in sugar syrup for 5 to 10 minutes and remove.
  7. Once they are cooled, can be stored.
