2 cups cooked rice 1 cup tamarind paste (thick pulp) 2 Tbsp channa dal 2 Tbsp urad dal 1 tbsp mustard seeds 8 green chillies 6-8 whole dry red chillies Cumin, fenugreek seeds fried and grounded to powder : 1/4 spoon 1/4th cup peanuts pinches of hing Curry leaves 1/4 cup oil 1/4 cup sesame seeds (toasted and powdered) Salt to taste Cashew nuts : to garnish |
